Highschool of the Dead [HOTD] Season 2 ?!!

Okay, so I've been searching for forever about HOTD having a Season 2 but haven't found out anything legit. I've heard about the OVA released with the Season 1 DVD or whatever, but that was more like an "Extras" type of thing (seriously- how could they go from the mall to a random island? makes no sense). I really, really, REALLY want a Season 2. REALLY bad. (Really badly?) The one shred of hope for me is the fact that the manga isn't finished and goes past where the anime is currently at in the story line. Because of this, they might have no choice but to continue the anime because fans will question why the anime was suddenly dropped after Season 2 but the manga is still being published. I'm praying that whoever is in charge of this anime/manga series will come to their senses and release another season. If you have ANY extra information about this, I would love to know! (either in the comments or message me). Thanks!~

In the Name of the Moon, I Punish You!

Today I was going over my list of animes I've watched and mangas I've read. Then, I was like, "Wow, I wonder what was my first anime/manga?" And then I was like, "DUH- Sailor Moon!" I think I started watching "Sailor Moon" when I was 5 or 6.... Ah, the good 'ol days (:
Sailor Moon is basically about this ditzy teenage girl named Usagi Tsukino who discovers a talking cat named Luna, who tells Usagi that she is really "Sailor Moon," a special warrior destined to save Earth, and later the whole galaxy. To save the world, Usagi has to find the Moon Princess and protect the Earth from Dark Forces. During her search, Sailor Moon finds Sailor Senshi, incarnations of the Moon Princess' protectors, and the super hot-and-mysterious Tuxedo Mask. The Sailor Senshi turn out to be students at Usagi's school, and they become best friends. Tuxedo Mask also goes to her school, and it's not long before him and Usagi start having a "thing" between them ;) Together, they have to save the world from Darkness.
Sailor Moon is an anime and a manga, which I both give 10/10. The anime has, like, 5 different series, which are all really awesome. Also, there are a lot of short-storied mangas as well as the main ones scattered about, which you can probably find at mangafox.com. The Sailors also have their own songs and stuff, which are pretty cool, too.

Now, time for some pics!

Here are the main characters! (:
From left to right, top to bottom:
Sailor Star Fighter, Princess Kakyuu, Sailor Star Healer, Sailor Star Maker
Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto
Artemis, Sailor Venus, Chibichibi Moon, Tuxedo Mask
Sailor Mars, Sailor Moon, Sailor Murcury, Luna
Chibi Moon, Sailor Saturn

~P.S.: My favorite Sailor is probably... Pluto. She's totally awesome, and can control and guard time!

I CAN'T DECIDE!!!

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and get the "I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever" apology over with and say that I'm sorry. Life happens to get in the way of anything involved with the internet. Especially if it's homework... or youtube...

Anyways, I've been obsessing over what anime I should watch next, and each and every time I look on youtube, I always see something about the anime "Bleach." Yeah, yeah, I know already: it's perverted, ecchi (do NOT look up what that means unless you want to seriously die inside- i found out the hard way), and just not for so-called-innocent Catholic girls who's friends consider her a "fallen angel."

But it seems to have a REALLY interesting and unique story line!!! UGH- fine.... I'll just have to be satisfied with the decision of not scarring my mind with more of those perv-like animes (such as my first anime that I posted about: "HOTD" or "High school of the Dead") and starting the contemplation of my other animes to finish and/or begin watching.

Must Finish:
  1. Tengou Tenge- YES I FREAKIN KNOW ALREADY!! It's just like HOTD and Bleach with it's slight perv-ness and cussing.... BUT THE STORY LINE IS GOOD. Everyone's a critic these days...
  2. Toradora- super cute anime, though it is pretty weird... but I guess that's what makes it so interesting to watch
Begin Watching:
    1. Lucky Star- I've been told by my best friend Mikoto Takumi (check out her blogs- they're under the name I just listed) that it's super cute, random, and hilarious. Plus, I've seen the characters and they're just cute funny girls living life to the weirdest.
    2. Shuffle- All I know is that it has magic people in it. And that the characters are very quirky. But, hey, lemme know if you've seen it and if it's good or not. Oh, and I've also heard that it has really cool music.
    3. Black Butler- My knowledge is very limited towards this anime. The only reason I want to watch it is that it has a hot guy in it and it has a cool name.
    4. Death Note- This anime sounds totally freakin awesome. It'll probably be the anime I watch next. It's just that killing + mystery = awesome for me (:
~Alright, well, that's all I have for now, but please feel free to give me some more names of animes that you recommend. =D

    PEACE OUT

    Finally, A Manga Post!!!!

Okay, today I'm going to tell you about Kitchen Princess, an amazing manga that happens to be one of my favorites (so you know it's gotta be good- 10/10). It made me laugh, cry, smile like and idiot, and throw a fit at some of the characters; since it could do that, it had to be blogged about! (:

Anyways, it's about this girl named Najika Kazami, and orphan from Hokkaido, who has a special talent for cooking; actually, she never forgets what a food tastes like, and can detect each and every ingredient distinctly. She joins Seika Academy in search for her "Flan Prince," a boy who she had met when she was younger that loved her flan; she had fallen "in love" with him ever since he saved her from drowning in a river and is desperately searching for a guy who could identify with a certain spoon that the boy had left behind long ago. When she gets there, everyone is shocked that she's in the Special A class, yet doesn't seem to show any talents other than eating and "climbing like a monkey." Later on, she meets two (hot) students (who happen to be brothers though one has blonde hair and the other is brunette) by the names of Sora and Daichi Kitazawa, who help expose her talents in cooking and become a great cook as her mother and father (two famous cooks widely known in Japan and throughout the cooking world) had been.

Spoiler Time!! The ending is awesome!!! I loved how her and Daichi got together <3 (So cute!) ^_^ But WHY, OH WHY DID SORA HAVE TO DIIEEEEE??!!!! I totally cried my eyes out when that happened!!! :'( Anyways, my favorite part was when Daichi found her under the rainbow; it was soo romantic!!! I definitely recommend this manga to any soft-hearted teens (:

Cute Picture Time!! (Come on, you all know you love them):

    Cute little Najika!

    Sora, Najika, and Daichi (:

This is Akane: she is a model and likes Daichi (and is a *bleep* to Najika in the beginning), but then comes to like another guy, so it all works out for her and Najika. See? This is why I LOVE this manga: everybody gets their own happily ever after, whether they're good or bad.

LOVE  THIS PICTURE!! (AND THIS MOMENT!) ^o^

When Najika and Daichi first meet(:

Alrighty, that's it!!!! Thanks for reading!!! :D

    Miss Rank Two

    W. O. W. I've just found this anime called Special A (I haven't read the manga yet...), and it is amazing! I've only watched the first episode, and it's just awesome! It's about this smart and athletic girl named Hikari Hanazono who is always second place compared to this super hot, smart, calm-and-collected guy named Kei Takishima. She challenges him a lot, always trying to beat him in something. Takishima thinks (and expresses in the first episode) that Hikari is an excellent person who always fights fair and at her best ability (though he does make her mad by calling her "Miss Rank Two"). Both Hikari and Takishima are in the "Special A" class, where only the top seven students in the school can join, and battle out in challenges. It's super cute, with only some clichés, and romantic. Also, unlike most, the anime's comedy doesn't ruin the romantic mood or overshadow the romance, but brings the romance to an even higher peak between the two top students.

Here's some pictures (Sorry, I didn't know which ones to pick, so I posted all of them!):

A cute pic of the Special A class!

Here's one of the CUTE covers! ^_^

    Another cute cover (:

    Mmmm... dreamy, no? ;)

Okay, okay, this is the last cute one (:

    Here, It's ALWAYS Easter

Shugo Chara! is one of the best animes I've ever watched, and it's also one of the best mangas I've ever read. I give it an 8/10 (It could score a 10, but you'll figure out why it doesn't later...), which is pretty good for my very constructive criticism! The characters are super cute, and it's so dramatic and a great mix of romance, fantasy, and comedy that it kept my eyes glued to my computer screen the whole time!
Now, I dislike "comedic romance" because I'm more of a passionate person and believe that love should be as such. (Plus, I'm more of a "dramatic/passionate romance" person.) But, I mean, come on! Ikuto and Amu are the cutest comedic/romantic couple ever! ^_^
    Basically, this anime/manga is about a girl named Amu Hinamori who wishes to expose her true personality and gets three eggs that hatch into Guardian Characters. She then becomes part of her school's Guardian Council to rid the town of evil X Eggs and Characters that the Easter Co. is using to gain power. But what for? And is the mysterious Ikuto all that he seems? You'll just have to find out (;
Sadly, though, Amu is, putting it lightly, quite ignorant. She has no idea what's going on when Ikuto decides to go all "sexy bad-boy" on her and flirt with her! She's all like "Whaaat? What was that, you pervert!" the whole time; it's one of the only two things I don't like about Shugo Chara. (I mean, if it were me, I would have been all over him!)
The second thing I don't like is the extremely disappointing ending! SPOILER ALERT!!!
Alright, well, here's the spoiler; you can't turn back now!! In the end, it's like Ikuto wimps out on Amu right after she finally decides to get over stupid (yet cute- I'll admit that much) "Prince/King" Tadase and flirt back for once! But, oh, no, he has to be all "When you're eighteen, I'll come back for you after I'm done ditching you to find my presumably dead father and play the violin with him."Yeah, yeah, it sounds kind of dreamy, but that sad thing is you never get to see any real romance until the very end, and the makers don't even add another manga or anime even based on/hinting/showing what happens in the end when he does come back (if he even comes back in the first place!)! Even Inuyasha accomplished that; why can't they?? :'(
But, all in all, this obviously made me wanting more, so the writers at least accomplished something... And so, I do recommend Shugo Chara! for most girls (especially if you like cute mangas/animes), though maybe not guys unless you're completely bored (which probably won't happen thanks to Black Ops) and/or you have no life... or maybe you just abnormally like cute things....

Just for kicks, here's some other cute pics from Shugo Chara:

All the main characters- how cute! ^_^

Ikuto's just sexy in this one (:

    Nice move, Ikuto ;)

Aw! All the main characters and charas as dolls! ^w^

    Horrified, Yet Addicted O_o

Okay, so, I'm not really a fan of horror movies (at all), but this one anime really caught my attention. It's called Highschool of the Dead, or H.O.T.D. for short. This anime is totally creepy, gory, and pervy. And YET! I recognize this anime with quotes such as: "Amazing; I am now a fan of zombies." "A hot guy, legitly skilled girls with guns, and life-or-death situations, plus romance- impressive" "After watching Maid-sama, I thought anime couldn't get any more interesting; it just did (:" and "I am horrified, yet addicted."
Basically, this anime is about an epidemic of zombie-infections spreading across the globe. The plot revolves around the infected (with super creepy zombies) high school and the few extremely skilled students who are giving their all to survive. They escape the school, but what about the rest of Japan? What about the rest of the world? (Sends chills down your spine, doesn't it?)
I could go ON and ON about how edgy this anime is, how it kept me at the edge of my seat (or more like my bed), how sexy Takashi Komuro is... yadda, yadda, yadda... but I won't (:

P.s. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO SQUEAMISH GIRLS AND YOUNG UNTAINTED MINDS.

Please leave all interesting and random (or both!) comments below!
